This type of footwear has differing levels of support so as to meet the demands of those who have mild overpronation to that of someone who has an excessive amount of medial foot collapse. We also feel that a persons body weight should also be taken into consideration due to eventual midsole breakdown and degradation.
Please note that not all persons who have overpronation require shoes in this category as some of the more supportive neutral shoes are still more than adequate for some people particularly for those who have had no issues or injuries whilst having worn a good neutral shoe in the past.
As always, comfort has to be the main priority when selecting a pair running shoes.
