Pete Johnson
Pete has been running for nearly 30 years, formerly with Thurrock Harriers, Basildon AC, Norfolk Gazelles and currently a member of Ryston Runners. He has covered all distances from 800m up to the marathon (2:34). Pete has been three times Norfolk Marathon Champion and Norfolk Road Runner of the Year. He holds the Southern Counties Bronze Medal for the London Marathon, over 50s and was recently ranked no. 1 on Power of 10 for 5000m. He is still active on the local running scene and a fountain of knowledge to staff and customers alike at our Taverham Superstore.
From 1997 - 2014 he successfully managed The Runners Centre in Norwich. Now retired, he can be found working part-time on the team at Sportlink.
